everyday sneakery

I have come to realize that for most women, boots are the solution, however for me, the answer is sneakers.

These are my new sneakers.  Thanks to my will-power and hubby I only have two pairs of these Saucony shoes since zappos.com provides a rainbow of choice awesomeness.  I find that they are my go-to shoes in the winter since I have a bit of a walk in Seattle weather before catching my bus.  Comfy.

I especially like the way that they "nerd up" my sweaters and pants for work.  They are the bridge between function and style, although I have come to understand that I am more on the functional side than many women.

The rest of my outfit today consists of navy pants, yellow sweater and a big blousy white shirt.  And a scarf.  It is now offically winter and a scarf helps me leave the house.  brrrr!
