hangin' tough

Here is my jean jacket.  It was found at Goodwill and was made by Anne Taylor Loft (score!).  I was hesitant to do this look for several reasons.  Jean jackets have this strange stigma of sorts – however, they do change over the decades on what they mean.  They could mean that you are tough and that one should not mess with you.  They could mean, hey – I am preppy and in the 80’s.  Now we see them EVERYWHERE on younger people over maxi dresses and on older woman looking clean and fresh.  Since I am not a young person (relatively) and not an older person (relatively), I am in this strange limbo of jean jacketness.  Hanging out, feeling my way into this look.

p.s.  I am taking a break for a bit - on vacation!!
