As you may have guessed, I find shopping fun and a stress reliever. You could say I feel joy in finding new things. This week I needed to waste some time and I needed to blow off some nervous-steam, so it is not a surprise I found my way into a Forever 21.
I was actually feeling proud of the fact that I have not been in that store in many months. I know that I am not the person that they are targeting with their clothes, but you can find random gems (see image of an example gem below). But this time, I had to really look to find items that I would actually want to wear.
This got me to thinking. Is it because current fashion is truly appalling or am I getting too far out of touch due to age? I’d like to think it is not the later, but I have to do more research on that to confirm. I am not impressed with all the lace, leggings, pastels, neons, awkward shirts that are not flattering and I really really really am questioning the headband look.
But, what you really want to know is did I find anything. And, the answer is yes (of course) and I am sure I will be inspired to share them in the future.

you don't like the lace look? I love it! Except when you see four teens in practically the same fricken' lace shirt with leggings. Leggings are flat out comfy just not always flat out flattering. what's the headband look? picture please.
ReplyDeleteeventhough I am a fan of grandma-looks, never had taken to lace. I am over leggings although I get why they are popular. I will include an image of the headband look...
